Tip:
Higher Notes (
+2 Octave) - When entering a Pattern from a Roland TB-03, to a Beringer TD-3, drop the entire Pattern down
1 Octave. Then, using the "Tuning" / "Tune" dial, pitch the Pattern back up by
1 Octave.
This would only be necessary if the highest note has a
+2 Octave.
This tip will only work if the lowest note in the Pattern is a
0 Octave (See Pattern table below).
Lower Notes (
-2 Octave) - When entering a Pattern, from a Roland TB-03, to a Beringer TD-3, raise the entire Pattern up
1 Octave. Then, using the "Tuning" / "Tune" dial, pitch the Pattern back down by
1 Octave.
This would only be necessary if the lowest note has a
-2 Octave.
This tip will only work if the highest note in the Pattern is a
0 Octave (See Pattern table below).
Patterns that have both
+2 Octave notes and
-2 Octave notes can't be transferred without transposing these notes to +1 and -1 instead. Obviously, this will sound different to the original pattern.
