About The Roland TR-727

The TR-727 Rhythm Composer was released in 1985 by Roland. Packed with Latin percussion, the TR-727 is the sibling of the TR-707.
Even though the TR-727 is lesser known, it has been used in wide range of musical styles over the years. This Rhythm Composer became popular amongst acid house and techno producers.

Popularity

The Roland TR-727, along with many other drum machines from the 80s, are becoming more popular today, due to the increase in 'SynthWave' music production. Example Echo Shore - Midnight Runner and Echo Shore - Aurora (Synthwave Mix)

About Roland TR-727 - Audio Sample Collection

The main aim of this sample collection is to provide you, the end use, with a selection of audio samples, from the classic Roland TR-727.
This can be helpful if, for example, you are interested in purchasing a second hand Roland TR-727, but want to preview the sounds before buying. Supplied, are the full set of sounds featured on the Roland TR-727.

The full set of sounds are split into 3 folders. These are "16 Bit", "24 Bit" and "32 Bit". All samples are in WAV file format. No effects have been applied to the samples.

Bit Format

To give more flexibility, we wanted to offer these sounds in 32 Bit, 24 Bit and 16 Bit format.
